The struggle between Peter and the symbiote evolves into a war within Peter’s own mind, where Peter is aided by Uncle Ben.

So, Insomniac just released a new 10 minute long gameplay segment for Spider-Man 2, and it looks incredible. They showcased a new trailer for Kraven the Hunter, the design for the Black Suit, Symbiote abilities and combat, seamless switching between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, Slingshots, Web Wings, the Lizard, new gadgets, and so much more. During an encounter with the Black Cat, the alien lifeform that attached itself to Colonel Jameson’s space shuttle, which was then taken to ESU for analysis, bonds with Spider-Man, granting him a new black suit with enhanced abilities. Meanwhile, a master of disguise, the Chameleon, starts framing Spider-Man for various robberies, using inventions and effects provided by Quentin Beck and Phineas Mason. Spider-Man is left with no option but to team up with Black Cat to stop his new enemy’s crime spree.

So, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is right around the corner, and one of the biggest talking points about it is the possibility of seeing this game’s depiction of everyone’s favorite space goop, the Symbiote.
Now, I guess it’s not officially confirmed to be in the game yet or anything, but if you ask me it might as well be. Since even before the release of the first game, they’ve been hyping up their version of the Black Suit and the Alien Costume storyline. And with the inclusion of Venom in the game, it feels almost guaranteed, and so I’m so excited to see what Insomniac does with the idea.
There’s so much possibility with this concept and so many different directions they can go, so here’s what I want to see from the Symbiote in Spider-Man 2.
